Hozier is Coming to Burgettstown

In September 2013, some Irish fuck by the name of Andrew Hozier-Byrne released his debut single titled ‘Take Me To Church’. There’s no way he could’ve predicted the worldwide acclaim that would follow.

Building off of the success of that amazing song, Hozier has catapulted his career to numerous multi-platinum albums, number one singles, awards, Grammy nominations, billions of streams, and sold out shows all over the world.

Despite his amazing success as a solo artist, he still resides in the small town of Wicklow in Ireland; a town of just over 12,000 people as of the 2022 census. Fun fact: most of ‘Take Me To Church’ was recorded in his parent’s attic in Wicklow.

Hozier is bringing his ‘Unreal Unearth Tour’ to The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at 8:00 pm. Of course, this is exciting news as he is among the best, most popular artists in the world. However, I think it goes even deeper than that for a lot of people. There’s something to be admired in the way he carries himself in spite of his fame; a quality that I think is respected and celebrated when he shows up to rust belt cities, like Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately, the show is already sold out, as is most of his tour. However, I was able to get great resale tickets at a low price on vivid seats. No, they are not a sponsor. I just want to see any and all of my readers there if they’re able to make it happen. If you decide to get tickets, reach out to me on twitter! I’d love to hang out.
