Recapping the Steelers Massive Win @ Washington
That means that the Commanders won the turnover battle 1-2, but still dropped this game due to some costly mistakes; most notably jumping offsides on the hard count late in the 4th quarter to seal the Steelers win.
Pregame Thoughts - A Real Test for the Steelers @ Washington
I cannot stress this enough: we HAVE TO WIN THE TURNOVER BATTLE. This is probably the most nervous I've been about a game this year.
Steelers Trade for WR Mike Williams, OLB Preston Smith on Trade Deadline Day
During that presser, he made a comment about how the Steelers were actively searching for WRs, as well as other positions to ensure this team is ready for the brutal back half of the season. Immediately, speculation began on ‘Steelers Twitter’ about what position(s) he could be talking about. It turns out, that position was OLB, but more on that later.
Recapping Steelers Win vs. Giants
Obviously, the Steelers opening drive touchdown was called back because of a facemask call on Broderick Jones. We ended up kicking a FG on the end of that drive. It sucks that we’re 8-9 weeks into this season, and we’re still talking about the points being left on the field because of the constant mistakes by one guy, but here we are.
MNF - Giants @ Steelers Pregame Thoughts
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting the New York Giants tonight on Monday Night Football. Outside of the wide receiver chatter throughout the week, it has been a relaxing week for Steelers fans, watching the Ravens take a loss knowing that we have a REAL opportunity to take control of the AFC North heading into the bye week. Standing in our way is rookie star Malik Nabers and the Giants who are…quite frankly…not very good.
Recapping Steelers Big Win vs. Jets
After a slow start, with the Jets leading 15-6, the Steelers proceeded to step on their throats for the rest of the game en route to a 37-15 win; a hell of a start for the Russell-Wilson-led Steelers offense.
SNF - Jets @ Steelers - Pregame Thoughts
In the year 2024, the Aaron-Rodgers-led Jets are traveling to Pittsburgh to take on the Russell-Wilson-led Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Can you imagine how strange that sentence would’ve sounded a decade ago? But, here we are.
Steelers Make QB Change; Russell Wilson to Start vs. Jets
However, earlier today Ian Rapoport confirmed the rumblings that Russell Wilson will be starting against the Jets on Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh. Rap Sheet added that Justin Fields will play as well, presumably in specialty packages for him to use his legs.
Cowboys @ Steelers All-22 Rewatch: The Defense
With that being said, this has been a depressing week, and I wanted to put this game behind me, so I didn’t do a super-duper deep dive in this one.
My Visceral Reaction to Steelers Loss vs. Cowboys
My oh my…what a difference two weeks makes in the National Football League.
SNF - Cowboys @ Steelers Pregame Thoughts
I have had an extremely relaxing start to my Sunday. There’s something really serene about the early window of NFL Sunday when the Steelers aren’t in it. No stress, no anxiety…just NFL RedZone and good vibes. While I had that going, I also rewatched the Cowboys vs. Giants game from last week, which the Cowboys won 20-15.
Steelers @ Colts All-22 Rewatch: The Offense
The Steelers marched into the ‘LAHD HAHSE’ in Indianapolis for a bizarre game against the Colts that resulted in a 27-24 loss for the Steelers. I call the game bizarre, because Indianapolis looked like the better team to me, and yet, the Steelers should’ve won that game. The offense seemed ready to put this team on its back at times, but still made costly mistakes when shit got tight.
Justin Fields Plays Great vs. Chargers; Has he Cemented Himself as QB1?
All of those topics are worthy of discussion, but there’s something special happening in Pittsburgh at the quarterback position that takes precedence over all of those things.
Week 3 - Chargers @ Steelers Pregame Thoughts
They could’ve played this game in LA or Pittsburgh…it wouldn’t have mattered. The stands would be filled with Terrible Towels either way. Chargers fans exist only in myth.
Troy Fautanu’s Solid Regular Season Debut; Now Injured in Practice on Friday
Troy Fautanu was solid in his Steelers’ debut at right tackle in the team’s win over the Denver Broncos. It was something I was excited to sing his praises about, but the excitement seems to be for naught, at least for now, as news came out earlier that he suffered “a little tweak” in today’s practice.
Power Rankings: Where Do the Steelers Rank After 2-0 Start?
Last year, it was three-and-out seemingly every time the Steelers touched the ball. We’re clearly much better than we were then, and there’s a reasonable path to growth and prosperity for them on that side of the ball.
Game Recap: Steelers Win @ Denver; Move to 2-0
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense was absolutely DOMINANT in a convincing 13-6 win against the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon. That win, paired with losses from the Bengals and Ravens, puts the Steelers two games ahead of the two powerhouses in the AFC North.
Week 2 - Steelers @ Broncos Pregame Thoughts
It felt like the Steelers really cruised through a decent Falcons team last week. Even though the final score was relatively close, the game felt entirely one-sided in favor of the Steelers. That’s good news for us, because we should absolutely be 2-0 when we head to Pittsburgh for our home opener next week.
Power Rankings: Steelers Rise (IMO) After Week One Win
Disclaimer: These rankings are my opinion and my opinion only. I try my best to remain unbiased, but if my content is any indication, I often fall short. My opinion isn’t important, and it shouldn’t be that important to you. I just love football!
Game Recap: T.J. Watt is Incredible; Steelers Win @ Atlanta in Week 1
The Steelers walked into Atlanta and secured a week one victory, 18-10. TRUST ME when I say that the final score is not indicative of what took place on the field; it was a peculiar game.
